I think it’s time I take time to address a major issue in internet marketing. Mostly this is a problem I see among new marketers. This belief that internet marketing is a big myth, and people aren’t really making the money they say they do. Also ken folk to new aspiring marketers putting them down because they believe it’s all smoke and mirrors. If you believe this you are a flat out idiot. Oh I offended you? Well you offended me and many of my good friends who work day in and day out building our internet marketing businesses. When you say things like “Internet marketing is all a scam”, you are basically calling me a scammer.
Internet Marketing is no different than selling something out of your corner shop. Online difference is we have a larger customer base because we are not limited to our immediate community. I’m not sure how anybody with a brain can’t comprehend that. I know my family members have to rank top 10 in the category of ignorance when it comes to Internet Marketing.
I remember when I was first starting to make money online. I mean real money. When I started having $500-$1000 days. My family would still tell me “Well you should still go get a job”. I know that can be very discouraging to new marketers. It wasn’t to discouraging for me because I knew they had no idea what their talking about. I don’t have a degree, so I should go get a job making $9 in California where the cost of living is sky high, instead of focusing on my business that will most likely be earning me six figures this year.
For some reason it just doesn’t register with people. To me it’s common sense. People have wants. When people want something, they buy it. You sell it. Simple s that. Basic economics people.
Now you new marketers:
No your not off the hook. Stop this “Oh it’s too late to start marketing.” or.. “I don’t believe anybody’s really making money”. Have you lost your mind? Just curious because if you honestly believe that you SHOULD quit internet marketing today and go back to Jr. high and ask them if they teach classes on common sense.
Everybody isn’t lying to you. You have to put in the hard work my friend. Sacrificing fun is something most of us had to do. When I decided to go full time with this I realized that 12-15 hour days would be all too common, and sleep would be something I probably wouldn’t recognize for the next year or so.
Believe it’s very possible if you grind it out. Make a decision to commit a certain amount of time every day to building your online empire. Don’t stop learning and investing in knowledge. I sometimes think I know everything there is to know about internet marketing, but get slapped back to reality when I buy new books on the subject and realize I could have been earning more money if I had known these techniques earlier. I buy new Ebooks, guides, reports, etc pretty much on a daily basis. I don’t read them all , but if I do get a chance to increase my knowledge I will.
Now it’s time to take action. Commit to success. That means you refuse to fail. Don’t play this game just to play. Play to win.
Too much success,
Daniel Taylor
