Not long ago Alex Tew was just one determined college student in need of ways to earn some extra cash like most of us. He brainstormed for 20 minutes and thought of the greatest idea I’ve heard in some time. He founded milliondollarhomepage.com which is nothing more than a pixel based advertising website. He figured if he sold 1 million pixels at $1 a pixel he would make a million dollars. To everyone’s surprise he actually did it. He made one million dollars in 4 months just by selling advertising space. No content or anything. Make 1,000,000 with just a simple webpage?

The main problem is start-up capital, and thats not including the countless other obstacles like finding manufacturing, outlet, mass distribution, ect. Now on my journey to find the latest and best online hustles I came across a unique but great find. There is a company called “Spreadshirt” that actually lets you design clothes via the internet and place them in a free online store, hosted by Spreadshirt. The cool thing is Spreadshirt already has the templates loaded for you, so no html knowledge is need. You design the shirts and sell them straight from your online store. Spreadshirt handles the printing, manufacturing, and shipping of all clothing. They take a flat fee of $7 for every article of clothing you sale.
I registered with Spreadshirt and opened my own store. The whole process was pretty painless. The interface is very user friendly so it wasn’t long before I had everything setup. The designing of the clothing is very simple and easy to do process. The whole project took me about 20 minutes to finish. You can sell as many different items as you would like. There are also templates that can be found using a Google search if you want to change the theme of your store from the classic Spreadshirt look.
Anybody with the desire to design and sell their own clothing should definitely look into this. Also if you have good idea for T shirts like funny quotes I would strongly suggest doing this. It’s a fairly new project so the market is not flooded.
